Japan by bike? Yes, please.
Temple stops. Little towns. Local food. And someone else moving your luggage while you ride.
One winner will receive a 4-day self-guided cycling trip through Kansai with O Cycle Japan.
The best part? You choose: city or countryside.
Want a little extra help on the hills? An e-bike is available for an additional fee.
OPTION 1: KANSAI CITY
Osaka → Kyoto → Otsu → Nara
Ride between some of Japan’s most memorable cities, following riverside paths and stopping for temples, gardens, and local discoveries.
Explore Kyoto, ride toward Lake Biwa, and finish in Nara with its famous free-roaming deer.
Three cycling days · Approximately 25–37 miles per day
OPTION 2: KANSAI COUNTRYSIDE
Nara → Hashimoto → Wakayama → Rinku Town
Follow rural roads, rivers, and rolling landscapes toward the coast. Along the way: historic temples, Wakayama Castle, and a night in a Japanese ryokan.

Decisions, decisions. I’d probably start by asking what we’re eating along the way. 😂
This is a self-guided trip, so you follow the pre-mapped routes at your own pace.
Stop for photos. Take that food break. Spend a little longer somewhere you love.
Your accommodations are arranged, your rental bike is included, and your luggage moves between overnight stops.
You still pedal. You just get to travel lighter.
O Cycle Japan introduces travelers to Japan’s culture, food, and landscapes through cycling.
Their Kansai trips connect memorable places with thoughtfully planned routes and stays—helping you experience the places between the big attractions, too.
